CO₂ - Based pH Neutralization System ꟷ AJF

The CO₂-based pH neutralization system lowers the pH to the required level, allowing wastewater from filter presses to be discharged through pipelines in compliance with European and French regulations. Indeed, the pH must be between 9 and 7, and we guarantee that this pH level can be achieved with our CO₂ neutralization system.
- A mobile or stationary installation in a container
- Designed for precast plants or construction sites
- Fully automated
- Adjustable to water treatment needs
Typically, acidic substances are added to neutralize the alkaline wastewater from the concrete industry. However, when CO₂ is combined with water, it forms carbonic acid, which can neutralize alkaline water. The effectiveness of using carbon dioxide (CO₂) to neutralize wastewater from residual concrete has been demonstrated through various studies and experiments. Moreover, thanks to its buffering system with water and CO₂, the risk of error is virtually eliminated. Additionally, CO₂-based neutralization is an environmentally friendly solution, as it does not generate any toxic substances.
