Concrete reclaimer RE_X - ECOFROG
The principle of flotation
The concrete reclaimer RE_X based on the principle of flotation separates the concrete residues from the gravel of the washing water (cement and fine elements remaining in suspension in the water). The charged water is kept in suspension in the agitation tank and can be pumped directly into the mixer for reuse. Aggregate residues are ejected using an ascending vibrating chute that simultaneously allows them to drain. The dripping water returns to the washer and a perfect washing of the aggregates is obtained, which can thus be reused. The introduction of washing residues can be done on the floor or from the upper part of the machine.
Separation and evacuation
Separates fresh concrete into two sub-elements using the suspension process. The first sub-element is composed of a mixture of water, cement and fine with a dimension of less than 2.5 mm and a second sub-element composed of aggregate, sand, gravel whose dimension is greater than the previous value. This second part is evacuated from the machine through drying channels. The materials obtained by this separation can be immediately reused.
Abilities
The RE_X range of washers covers the following capacities: 2, 4, 13, 16, 23 and 26 m3/h, which corresponds to all needs from precast concrete to BPE plants.
Benefits
- The RE_X washer, based on the principle of flotation, separates the concrete residues from the gravel with a cut-off of 0.25 mm from the washing water (cement and fine elements remaining in suspension in the water).
- The aggregate residues are ejected using an ascending vibrating chute and simultaneously allow their drainage. The dripping water returns to the washer and a perfect washing of the aggregates is obtained, which can thus be reused.
- The loaded water is kept in suspension in the agitation tank and can be pumped directly into the mixer for reuse.
- The machine is available in different variants (see table above), so that the dimensions meet every particular need.
- In addition, all washers can be delivered in a “Z” version, that is to say with a paddle wheel attached to the machine. This allows minerals and water to be lifted from ground level continuously and without wear. This paddle wheel is used to raise the washing water from the pumps or mixers in the washing chamber.
Option
All RE_X washers can be fitted with an optional paddle wheel, allowing residual concrete dumping at ground level.
