Infrared light absorption measurement sensor

The OLAS system determines the density of residual concrete water in continuous processing. It measures density using its optical system based on infrared light absorption. In the area exposed to moisture and dirt, OLAS contains no electronics.

Using the OLAS system plays a crucial role in environmental protection, resource conservation, and promoting sustainability. It helps reduce waste generated during concrete production, preserves raw materials, and conserves fresh water.

Differents sensors

Two sensors types available:

  • Pipes measuring head

The value is measured based on segregation in the rising columns and inhomogeneity in the residual water tank.

  • Submersible measuring head

The density of residual water is displayed continuously, even without dosing. Measurement is taken at a single point.

Sans-titre-2

The “Optical Light Absorption Sensor” technology uses a specifically designed infrared absorption measurement process. Light is transmitted through the device via fiber optics.

Thanks to the separation between the electronic measuring unit and the probe, the OLAS system is ideal for evaluating the density of residual concrete water. Unlike traditional optical turbidimeters, impurities or scratches do not affect measurement precision.

OLAS Touchscreen Controller

OLAS can be paired with the OLAS-TPC (Touch Panel Controller) to create a standalone analysis and display unit. All standard signals are available for control system integration.

This analysis and display unit is installed in a control room and connected to OLAS via a control cable. It can also be installed in a housing without the display unit: OLAS-TPS analysis system.
