Industrial pumps with seat valve piston - KLEIN
High pressure pumping
In addition to the KIP-S, Klein also offers the hydraulically operated flap pump. The advantage of this type of pump is the ability to pump highly viscous fluids at high pressure (>60 bar) without backflow or “water hammer” during the changeover process. This maintains the life of the entire pumping system. With a special hydro-electronic control, a pulsation-free flow is possible.
Principle of operation
Similar to a four-stroke internal combustion engine, the valve pump has inlet valves (1), a working piston (2) and outlet valves (3). Thanks to the hydraulically operated valves, a low-pulsation feed can be achieved, especially for low-viscosity materials. The pump head of the valve pump has been designed in such a way that wear parts such as valves or their housings are always quickly and easily accessible. This allows the pump head to be easily cleaned in case of hardening of certain materials, such as bentonite.
