CWAS – Automated system for wastewater treatment
The CWAS is a filter press housed inside a container, making it especially convenient during the winter season, as it enables continuous operation even in cold weather.
It has been developed for the concrete industry to simplify plant cleaning operations. Its main purpose is to purify residual water so that it can be reused in concrete production. Thanks to the uniformly controlled water density, concrete production maintains consistently high quality, while saving water and ensuring environmental protection.

The wastewater enters via a collection chute and is pumped by a sludge pump into the filter press. The filter plates are then compressed by a hydraulic system. Once compressed, the filter cakes are discharged through a bottom hatch. The filtered water is collected in a clean water basin and can then be directed toward pH neutralization using CO₂, as its pH can reach 13 and needs to be reduced to at least 9 before it can be safely discharged into the sewage system.
The filter cakes can also be reused by industrial operators.
