Compact, energy-efficient water cooling system for the production, storage and distribution of cold water.  When the available cold water is adequate to reach the temperature required for concrete manufacture, COOLMATIC cooling is an efficient solution for your concrete production. To lower the temperature of the water used in the manufacture of concrete, and when the cooling of aggregates is required, the COOLMATIC cooling system is necessary.   The chiller is always designed in collaboration with the customer, taking into account the specific requirements of the plant. This ensures that the new equipment meets the cooling needs of the concrete plant, while also ensuring that it is not oversized.   In addition, the cooled water can be used to cool the building, creating a comfortable working environment for the staff.

Cooling aggregates using liquid nitrogen (LIN) is the most effective solution to lower the temperature of concrete due to its higher volume mass than other concrete ingredients. LIN cooling can also be combined with water cooling.

TURBOMATIC heating and COOLMATIC cooling solutions can be perfectly combined for concrete production sites.   COOLMATIC units offer a complete cooling solution that includes all the equipment needed to produce, store and dose cold water, as well as cooling concrete aggregates when required. Each heating and cooling plant is tailor-made to meet the specific requirements of our customers.   Combining a TURBOMATIC heat production unit with a COOLMATIC cooling unit creates an integrated heating and cooling solution. In this case, the TURBOMATIC unit’s hot water tank is also used to store cold water. The same water metering system used during the cold season to supply hot water, either at the water weigher or at the water meter, is also used to dispense cold water during the warmer months.
